This is you, but four years ahead. Yes, technically twenty is only barely out of the "teens", but think of yourself four years ago! Twelve? You thought very differently then, yes? Yes. So, here's hoping I can change things with this letter.
I'll start off with a couple basics. First: relationships. You're not going to have any. At least, not official romantic ones. Instead, hold on to the friends you have because they'll hold on to you, and you'll be happy when they do. Specifically, do NOT be mean to TJ. In a year or so your emotions are going to start going crazy and you're going to get into a big fight with him and start using your friends. That is the ONLY thing I have regretted in my entire life, and as you will soon see, that is saying a lot. So seriously, do. not. do. that.
Second: academics. Congratulations, you are smart. You'll get into the college of your choice without a problem and scholarships
Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone.
